Skultuna plant - part of Comital Alluminio group since 2004 -, is located 120 km west of Stockholm, Sweden. Skultuna is one of the oldest industrial districts of Sweden and the area has been active in metal works since 17th century. The total surface area of the plant is about 27,000 square meters, with over 8,000 square meters of covered surface.

Skultuna and Volpiano plants are fully integrated and perfectly interchangeable and work in synergy and coordination. The Skultuna plant offers an excellent location to serve the Northern Europe and Russian markets. The main end uses of the plant production are flexible packaging for solid and liquid food products, blisters for pharmaceuticals and many other technical applications.

The production covers a range between 6 and 50 micrometers in various alloys (1200, 8006, 8079) up to a maximum width of 1640 mm. The plant follows a strict environmental policy according to rules and production processes designed avccording to the criteria of sustainable development., as demonstrated by the ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications granted to the plant. Comital has also met new REACH and BRC regulations standards.
